Graham County is taking applications for a (2) part-time/dispatch telecommunicators.
Required to work 12-hour shifts in a 24/7 shift rotating environment.Minimum requirements: High School Diploma or Equivalent; at least 18 years of age; Valid NC Driver’s License and a clear criminal background check. Moderate typing and computer skills required; multitasking including excellent listening/speaking skills; remains calm in stressful environment and must be able to sit for extended periods of time. You will be subject to a pre-employment drug test.

Position Available for: Income Maintenance Supervisor II
Pay: $18.50 - $22.05 per hourJob Type: Fulltime
Description Job responsibilities will include the administrative and technical supervision of a small staff of income maintenance caseworkers. The income maintenance programs involved include the following: Food and Nutrition Services, Low Income Energy Assistance, Crisis Intervention Program, and Program Integrity. Considerable knowledge of all income maintenance programs, forms, and documents used in determining eligibility. Considerable knowledge of the use of the income maintenance manuals. Considerable knowledge of needs, problems, and attitudes of disadvantaged persons. General knowledge of all agency programs and services. General knowledge of community services and programs, which could affect the client/applicant. General knowledge of the budget process. Good mathematical, reasoning, and computational skills. Ability to instruct, organize, direct, and supervise program employees. Must have basic supervisory/management skills. Must have the ability to communicate effectively with workers, supervisors, applicants, and community agencies to obtain pertinent data and to interpret rules and regulations. Ability to present information orally and in written form and generate appropriate reports for the director and the DSS Board. Minimum Training and Experience Requirements: Three years of experience as a caseworker or investigator in an income maintenance program, preferably with one year of supervisory experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

Sanitation Yardman Position Available

Preferred Qualifications:
Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Equipment operating experience
CDL and equipment operator experience are preferred but not required.
